Additional services

Apart from translation and interpreting, we provide a range of additional services:

1. Interpreting equipment rental.

We offer short-term rental of any equipment for simultaneous interpreting, including microphones, headsets, sound-proof booths, control panels, mixers, speaker systems, video projectors, notebooks, screens etc. We also take care about installation and support.

2. Notarized translation.

If we talk correct terms, we arrange authentication of translator’s signature by a notary. This makes a translation ‘official’. Some call it also certified translation, legalized translation, official translation. Notarization includes several options:

  • Notarized translation attached to the original document,
  • Notarized translation attached to a notarized copy of the original document,
  • Notarized copy (copy of a copy).

Our managers will competently advise you on all aspects of notarized translation and help you choose the option best suits your needs.

Important! Translations are notarized by a notary. Notary practice is regulated by Ukraine’s law that we can influence in no way. So, it is a notary’s responsibility to verify originals and copies of documents we translate. If a notary finds authenticity of a certain document doubtful, he or she may deny notarization of its translation. In any case, our managers will do their best to arrange high-quality notarization services for you.

Please be also advised that our company does not delegate in-house certified translators to notaries we never worked with to sign translations we never did. We make exceptions only for our key clients and only for translations checked by our in-house translators or proof-readers.

Before you request any type of notarized/certified translation, we strongly recommend you to inquire to the organization or institution you apply to about particular requirements in this regard. Various organizations and institutions set different requirements to translated documents, and those may often change. Unfortunately, we simply cannot be aware of policies of all institutions around the globe. So, to avoid misunderstanding or additional costs, please, always inquire about precise and up-to-date requirements to translation of documents you are going to submit, to a particular organization or institution.

3. Certified translation.

Certified translation service includes confirming that the document concerned has been translated by a qualified translator or translation company. Some call it official translation, certified/official translation for an embassy, certified/official translation for applying for a visa, translation certified with a company’s seal. Certification includes several options:

  • Certified translation attached to the original document,
  • Certified translation attached to a copy of the original document,
  • Certified translation attached to a printed out scan of the original document,
  • Certified translation by a certified translator (showing such translator’s details) — required mostly to be presented by applicants for a UK or Canadian visa).
  • Certified translation in an electronic form (where the client needs no hard copy).

Our managers will competently advise you on all aspects of certified translation and help you choose the option best suits your needs.

We keep an in-house register of translations certified by our company, in which we enter basic details that allow verifying whether or not we indeed translated and certified the documents concerned, if necessary.
